The technology stack

A technology stack comprises the layers of components or services that are used to provide a software solution or application. With Microsoft this stack starts with the operating system "back end" and ends (on the top) with knowledge worker tools such as Microsoft Office. In between its normal to find business applications such as Dynamics AXthat collects and controls data and logic for financials, purchasing etc.
